After two days of adventures with Chinese eggs, I was delighted when these eggs turned out to be fresh, regular, un-salted, non-hard-boiled, non-1000-year-old eggs.

Life is best when you truly appreciate the things you normally take for granted, like being able to eat bacon and eggs when you feel like it. The small victories in life should be savored just as much as the big ones.

Having done that, however, I think it’s time to continue the adventure by trying a Chinese breakfast.

Rice gruel, here I come!
